Serve at REALIFE

You can make a difference in the lives of high schoolers.

This is a place for high-schoolers to explore the Christian faith, connect with friends and have a great time. Opportunities range from prepping for our weekly meeting to working directly with students. 

REALIFE currently meets Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Leaders arrive at 6:15 p.m. to meet before students arrive (or earlier, if you want to come and help set up). Leaders can serve in a variety of capacities, from task-oriented to relationally-orientated roles. You could serve by checking students in, serving food, leading games, helping with production or worship, or simply be free to build relationships with students to lead them closer to Jesus.

SQUAD Leaders own a small group of students and walk with them weekly. They lead discussions, check in during the week, and create a space where students can be real. This role requires consistent weekly presence.

Coaches are relational leaders who don’t lead a SQUAD, but are fully engaged with students. This is a great entry point for someone who wants to be a SQUAD Leader someday but isn’t quite ready to fully commit yet.

The Grounds is open from 6 - 7:15 p.m. for students during our hang time every Wednesday night. The Grounds requires additional training to make and serve coffee drinks. You will be asked to cross-train with our Grounds staff prior to serving.

You are the front door of REALIFE! Greet every student, check them in, and personally walk new students in and connect them to other leaders and students!

You keep the space running! This role helps set up and serve food, and most weeks, put a smile on student's faces when you give them dessert at the end of the night. 

While we have a great group of students and leaders to lead us in worship each week, we're always looking to expand this volunteer area. If you're gifted in the arts - musicians, vocalists, AVL, or just want to help with the behind-the-scenes, this is a great place to serve! 

Help set up the space around 4 p.m. on Wednesdays for REALIFE each week to create a welcoming environment for our students. Teardown happens following the program around 8:30 p.m. each week as well to reset the building back after REALIFE.
